Early Baby Shower& Goodbyes

My Sister-in-law arranged for us a small “Go Away Party,” and since my Husband’s Family and our American Friends will not see us for a while we decided to also include our “Baby Shower.” A very “Early Baby Shower” since we don’t know yet what the sex of the Baby is…

We had a very sweet time with Friends and Family and are very grateful for everything we have experienced here together. My husband and I will be moving to England on May 20th (in exactly 15 days.)

Simple Jewish Deliciousness!

This week has been a bit hard for me, I didn’t feel well and had a hard time getting enough sleep.

Today I woke up happily feeling like a new person, more energy, more appetite, overall a well feeling.

I’m also starting to understand my body much more with which foods it needs and wants and which foods not so much. My diet has changed a lot for the past few weeks in general.

There are hardly any Vegetable I can get myself to eat except Salads. On the other hand, I enjoy eating fruits very much. I also crave Crackers and Bread a lot, but it can’t just be any Crackers or any Bread… When it comes to Bread, it has to be a nice fresh Whole Wheat Loaf. And when it comes to Crackers, I’ve started snacking on Matzo often throughout the day! Lastly, I crave Meat very much, hardly any Fish though…

Salad Craving& Food Aversion…

Organic Mixed Greens/Cherry Tomatoes/Grapes/Organic Eggs/Chicken Breast/Olive Oil/Lemon/Salt/Black Pepper

It’s been very hard to eat lately since almost nothing tastes good to me anymore. Most of the Food I used to enjoy eating, now makes my stomach turn by even thinking about it…
But there are other foods that I used to not eat very much of that I now enjoy eating.
Like Salad! My stomach approves of fresh vegetables, but many roasted Vegetables I just can’t stand at all, such as beets and Brussels Sprouts which I actually liked a lot fairly recently. My last food blog post was about roasted Beets and Brussels Sprouts, but the last time I ate any, I wasn’t even able to finish the meal.
The same with the Quinoa and Fish: I can’t stand them! Salmon is probably the only Fish I can still eat.
In fact, the only foods I can force myself to eat are Whole Grains (not just any though…), Fruits, Dairy (Yogurt&Cheese), Meat (Lean Chicken & Beef specifically), Eggs, Nuts (but no Peanuts or Peanut Butter) & Raw Vegetables.
Chocolate is weirdly one of the things I don’t seem to care about lately as well. I used to love Dark Chocolate!
Food Aversion isn’t the only problem during my first trimester of Pregnancy. Nausea has been a major problem as well. It’s making it hard for me to eat in general, because I get a very uncomfortable feeling which never seems to leave… and even if I feel hungry, I just end up eating very little since nothing seem appealing to me.
Activities that keep my mind occupied (such as exercise) help me very much with this issue… And of course what helps the most is the joy of knowing that a beautiful Baby is growing inside of me

Baby Fever {Healthy Life}

This Blog will soon be turning into an ‘Everything Baby Blog,’ since I am in my First Trimester of Pregnancy.

1

My Blog will still be all about Healthy Eating, Fashion and Life (which is obviously still very important to me, especially throughout my pregnancy!) Most importantly: Healthy Eating, which I am obsessing over even more now, knowing that everything I put in my body goes straight to my little Baby. So, nourishing my Baby with the best is all I’ve been focusing on and reading about.

I believe that being Pregnant doesn’t give me the excuse to eat whatever I want. I need to still focus on eating healthy (healthier than before,) only difference is that I now have to eat a little more than normal.

Pregnancy-Plate

My life has been quite an adventure for the last few months. From meeting my husband, to getting married very shortly after, him Graduating Hair school, to now being Pregnant and soon moving to England…

So excited and ready for this fun journey my Husband and I are now starting on.

Being a young Wife and Mother has always been my Dream… And it has finally come true!
